THE DANCE DISTRICT COMPANY
Eight Competitive Groups | Ages 8-18
For those dancers looking for the next step in performance growth, learning and getting feedback from other professionals in the industry, and testing their skills against other valley dancers, the dance district teams may be just what you are looking for. Each team member, aged 8 or older, must be enrolled in at least 4 classes (Ballet, Jazz, Lyrical Contemporary, and one genre of their choosing). The teams attend a handful of events including Local Performances, Regional and National Competitions and Conventions with opportunities to travel out of state. We strive to build strong teamwork, character and confidence in our team, as well as strong technical dancers!

THE DANCE DISTRICT MINI COMPANY
An introductory competitive program
for children age 5-7
Any AZDD dancer interested can join! Dancers do not need to audition. Competition season runs from August-May.
Weekly Classes: All Mini Company members are required to take 1 ballet, 1 jazz, and 1 other class.
Mini Company will compete one dance in two competitions and they will have one weekly rehearsal class.
Fall-Spring: AZDD's Mini Company will participate in one workshop, two competitions, Company Showcase in January and the annual recital in June
There will also be other opportunities like performances and other conventions!
